Have sailed and rowed her (The Avocet) on lakes in Alberta and Wisconsin so far. I'm biased of course by being the builder but she is a fine handling boat even in a respectable breeze. Can I post photos and more detailed description?Bernie Amellnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007838299911865964.post-64091926762138758582009-10-20T12:28:15.253-07:002009-10-20T12:28:15.253-07:00Matthew,

I'm not too good with the video function on my camera, but I'll try to get some footage of her in motion this weekend.dorymanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16077373149267825091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007838299911865964.post-28200335537080984072009-10-20T11:58:48.108-07:002009-10-20T11:58:48.108-07:00That is very beautiful. That is very beautiful.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12043873610380390344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007838299911865964.post-36023725502009047622009-10-16T11:39:38.021-07:002009-10-16T11:39:38.021-07:00Michael H.,

The folks from Port Townsend are hosting a gathering at Fort Warden State Park a week from now and I hope to attend (it's a long drive!). So if all goes well, I'll have more photos of Sparrow, Feather and much more.
Laingdon has much more to say about his lovely boat (I edited some of his more technical comments) so maybe we'll come back to Sparrow another day.dorymanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16077373149267825091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007838299911865964.post-79112473230995230362009-10-16T10:53:49.391-07:002009-10-16T10:53:49.391-07:00Michael B.,

Your candid comments are highly informative and remind me of Bolger's lucid writings about his boats. I hope you continue to enjoy her for many more years, as well as have the proverbial fair winds and following seas wherever you sail her.

Regards,
Michael H.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
