It uses 11 sheets of plywood, and was inspired by Johnson's boat. He had some nice commentary about the feat, and the man himself, and of the wisdom of trying such a thing in the original boat, or of the more modern update.

Quoting Bolger, "...but it used to be a high compliment in Gloucester to say of a man, 'What he says drunk he'll make good sober'."jp huzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15964217138594299080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007838299911865964.post-37842448877271905922012-02-03T13:31:53.651-08:002012-02-03T13:31:53.651-08:00The world needs more dammed foolsThe world needs more dammed foolsBursledon Bloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14020592383830135476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007838299911865964.post-89774264940772520642012-02-03T11:33:18.680-08:002012-02-03T11:33:18.680-08:00Some of the most foolish things I have done make t...Some of the most foolish things I have done make the best stories.
And so it is with this one.dorymanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16077373149267825091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007838299911865964.post-6557206011529463502012-02-02T22:53:30.616-08:002012-02-02T22:53:30.616-08:00Guilty I suppose.Guilty I suppose.Baydoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00751866865203182109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007838299911865964.post-90480708297459910662012-02-02T20:59:44.856-08:002012-02-02T20:59:44.856-08:00What's worse than a fool?
