Designed in 1989 with construction beginning in 1990, Mistral is complete as of this summer. The design resides in Doryman's head and was created by his own hand. She is large enough to cruise or live aboard, and may be one of the largest dories afloat. Of course, to say it was easy is a stretch!
The interior of Mistral is comfortable and spacious (shown is a shot during construction, with the bare essentials....... A few books and some cushions complete the picture today).
