The spring of 2006 finds Mistral at the boat yard getting fitted out for a new mast tabernacle and a bright new paint job. 2000 pounds of interior ballast has also been added to offset the weight aloft from her intended wood mast. For anyone planning to launch their project before it's completed, I would advise against it! Working on a boat in the water and in boat yards is difficult, time consuming and at times, expensive. It's the proverbial three steps forward and two back!
