Factory Towns

According to Richard Florida, director of the Martin Prosperity Institute at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, the average home price in Detroit last October was $18,513, with an unemployment rate of 21%.

This prompts many thoughts and feelings, but mostly despair.

No one's fault but our own.
So, New Orleans is not the only community to be abandoned...
