Ships Tea Towel Calendar

On the far left, among the lively live-feed, is a link to Bowsprite: a New York Harbor Sketchbook. If you've never been, you must. There you will find original sketches of New York Harbor and so much more.

Bowsprite prefers to sketch onsite, which provides an eclectic sample of life on the water in New York.

She recently opened two on-line shops. One offers textile prints of bowsprite designs. The other has prints suitable for framing and more bowsprite art.

Christina, the generous and loving person she is, sent me a tea towel calendar for 2012. Each month has a unique drawing of a ship. Isn't it great?

When I told her my favorite drawing was of the Picton Castle, she sent that too!
Custom orders are accepted and appreciated.

Thank you, bowsprite!

Mine is a calendar tea towel and has been used several times. Thanks again Christina!

As you can see, Baydog, this one is fresh from the box. I'm afraid to get it dirty, it's so fine!

Fine it is. It gets more exposure in my house if it's out and about. We've got so many great things that have been immediately stowed away, only to go un-appreciated!

I'm fortunate to have a houseful of art given to me by friends.
Precious.

Oh, goodness, glad for the reminder - this was the topic I was about to post about when my computer became comatose a couple of weeks ago!

You could say it threw in the towel...
